Waqaf Ar-Ridzuan Perak through projects Knowledge Waqf-MUMTAZ Program has successfully carried out a pilot with UPSR Excellence Seminar held in 2016 starting from July 29 to 31 2016 at the Sultan Azlan Shah Campus, UPSI.

Program 3 days 2 nights, brought together 121 students were selected from among the children of recipients who live in rural areas. The seminar received excellent cooperation mainly of Malay Teachers' Union of West Malaysia, the Alumni Association and the Council of Professors UPSI Batang Padang District. During this 3-day seminar run, the participants were given guidance and tips for answering the questions submitted by specialist teachers.

The closing ceremony was officiated by the Deputy Chief Executive Officer (Management) MAIPk, Tuan Mohd Haidi Bin Sulaiman.
